How we can help
We will start by doing a comprehensive consultation. This will determine your needs and decide the type of Nigerian visa to apply for. Intergate Africa can assist with:
- Short-term work visas.
- Long-term work visas.
- Business visas.
Please note the following
Business visitors to Nigeria typically use a Business visa, granted for 90 days, with the possibility of one 30-day extension in country at the discretion of authorities. After a stay of 56 cumulative days in a 12-month period, an extension is required for non-Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) nationals.
Depending on the duration of stay, foreign nationals requiring work authorization typically apply for a Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Aliens Card (CERPAC) or a Temporary Work Permit (TWP):
- A TWP is usually issued for 60 or 90 days, but it is only issued as a single entry permit into Nigeria.
- When applying for a long-term work permit (CERPAC), the applicant will first have to apply for a Subject to Regularization (STR) Visa which will allow them entry into Nigeria. Upon entry, the individual will then have to apply for a CERPAC from the Nigerian Immigration Serive in Nigeria.
Additionally, nationals of countries that are not ECOWAS members have different options for work authorization than ECOWAS nationals.
Please note: Unmarried partners and same-sex spouses and partners are not considered dependents in Nigeria.
